Shipping Policy – 18650 Battery Partners
Order Processing & Fulfillment
We work hard to get your order out fast. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Unless there are unusual circumstances, orders placed by 2:00 PM Central Time typically ship the same day. However, processing times may vary during peak periods or when handling large volume orders.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates
At checkout, you'll see multiple shipping options available to best suit your needs. Estimated delivery dates are provided by the carrier and are meant as a guide only. All shipping times provided are estimates under normal circumstances and are not guaranteed.
18650 Battery Partners is not responsible for delivery delays caused by weather conditions, carrier disruptions, customs processing, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Exact delivery dates are not guaranteed under any shipping method.
DDP Shipping – Estimated Transit Times
When DDP shipping is selected, typical delivery estimates are:
- Sea Freight (DDP): ~45 days
- Air Freight (DDP): ~20 days
These timelines are based on normal international logistics conditions and may vary depending on destination, customs clearance, and carrier availability.
Special Order Imported Cells & Battery Shipments
Orders containing imported lithium cells or battery products may require additional handling due to international transportation regulations, hazardous goods compliance, and customs procedures. As a result:
- Shipping times may be longer than standard domestic shipments
- Routing and carriers may change based on regulatory requirements
- Additional inspections or documentation may be required
- Delivery timelines are always estimates only and not guaranteed
- No additional or surprise charges are given if paid for in full at the beginning of your order
Imported cell shipments are particularly sensitive to global logistics conditions and may experience delays even when DDP shipping is selected.
Force Majeure
Delivery timelines may be significantly affected by events outside of our control, including but not limited to:
- War, armed conflict, or geopolitical disruptions
- Earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, or other natural disasters
- Fires, port closures, or large-scale infrastructure disruptions
- Government restrictions, customs shutdowns, or regulatory changes
- Global transportation interruptions or carrier suspensions
In such cases, additional shipping time may be required beyond all estimated delivery windows.
Refund Timing in Extraordinary Circumstances
In the event of major disruptions or force majeure conditions affecting international logistics, refund processing timelines may also be significantly delayed.
If a refund becomes applicable under such extraordinary circumstances, refund initiation may take up to 8 months to begin processing, though typically 3 months is the average time-line, depending on carrier investigations, shipment status, and recovery timelines.
Order Adjustments
We're happy to help you adjust your order, contact information, and shipping address once your order has been placed. However, 18650 Battery Partners cannot guarantee that order changes can be made before shipment. If the order is shipped to the address on file, no refunds or returns will be issued for incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
Domestic Shipping (USA)
We ship nationwide from our Houston, Texas facility. Shipping costs and available delivery methods are automatically calculated during checkout. Thanks to our central location, most U.S. orders are delivered within 2 to 4 business days via UPS or FedEx Ground.
International Shipping
We currently offer direct shipping to Canada through our website. For all other international destinations, we only accommodate large quantity or wholesale orders. If you're interested in international freight options, please contact us to discuss requirements and shipping logistics.
⚠️ International customers are fully responsible for all import-related costs, including duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and any other charges incurred. The shipping fee at checkout covers transportation only and does not include these additional expenses.
Freight Forwarders
If you choose to ship your order to a U.S.-based freight forwarder, all risk and responsibility transfers to you upon delivery to that location. 18650 Battery Partners is not liable for any issues that arise after delivery to the freight forwarder, including damage, loss, or improper handling.
Address Accuracy & Rerouting
Please double-check your shipping information before submitting your order. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be rerouted, modified, or changed in any way. If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, it will be processed according to our return policy. This includes deduction of original shipping charges, return shipping fees, and a restocking fee of 20% or $6.00, whichever is greater.
Damaged Orders
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately upon delivery. To process a damage claim, we require clear photos of both the damaged product(s) and packaging. We will file a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf. If the claim is approved and compensation is issued, a replacement will be shipped at no additional cost. Carrier claim decisions are final.
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment is returned due to refusal, an undeliverable address, return to sender, or missing address details, a refund will be issued minus the original shipping cost, return shipping fees, and a 20% restocking fee. If the package is lost or damaged during return transit, no refund will be issued.
Lost or Stolen Packages
If tracking shows a package as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us so we can open a carrier claim. If the claim is approved, a replacement will be issued. Carrier tracking confirmation is considered proof of delivery. 18650 Battery Partners is not responsible for stolen packages after delivery. Please ensure your delivery location is secure.
Email correspondence is required for all lost or stolen package claims. While we will assist in filing claims, outcomes are ultimately determined by the carrier and cannot be guaranteed.
