Return and Refund Policy – 18650 Battery Partners

Bought a Battery & No longer Need it? Relax - We accept Returns!

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from 18650 Battery Partners. If for any reason your order doesn’t meet your expectations, you may return the item in 30 days. Just contact us by phone or email, and we’ll guide you through the return process. Please note: return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated. Unopened & As-New Opened Items

Items that are unopened and in original packaging may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase (not arrival) with a valid Return Authorization Number (RMA). If the item has been opened, it must be returned in as-new condition with all original packaging, manuals, and accessories. Fees for missing components or damaged packaging may be deducted from your refund. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, but we can provide return labels at our commercial rates upon request. Returns are subject to a restocking fee of $6 or 20% whichever is greater. 


Defective Items

If you believe an item is defective, it must be returned within the manufacturer's warranty period, accompanied by a Return Authorization Number. The warranty begins on the date of purchase. 18650 Battery Partners is not a battery manufacturer; all warranty claims are directly with the manufacturer. We are happy to assist with order information and receipts. 

Note: Batteries must be charged before testing. We cannot test deeply discharged batteries until they are properly recharged.


Modified Products

Any merchandise that has been physically modified or altered in any way voids the warranty and is not eligible for return or replacement.


Shipping Discrepancies

Any issues with your order (missing, incorrect, or extra items) must be reported within 5 business days of delivery. While most orders are delivered within 6 days, items are not deemed lost until 20 days after shipment. There are no exceptions and guarantees in shipping times. 


Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, notify us within 3 business days. Retain all original packaging and contact us immediately so we can initiate a damage claim and arrange for a replacement. Take pictures and send an email to Support@18650Batterypartners.com stating the damage.


 

Return Instructions

  1. Contact us for an RMA number.

  2. Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of your return package.

  3. Package items securely to prevent damage in transit.

  4. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.


Returns from Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories & International

Customers returning products from these locations are responsible for all shipping costs, as well as duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. Defective items will be replaced or credited. Non-defective items will be returned at your expense.


Battery Testing Procedure

Returned batteries are:

  1. Fully charged under supervision.

  2. Rested for 48 hours.

  3. Load and/or capacity tested to factory specifications.

If a battery passes all tests, it will be returned at your expense along with the test report. If it fails, it will be covered under warranty.


Note About Battery Shipments

Most batteries—especially lithium-ion and lithium polymer—are shipped in a partially discharged state for safety and compliance with international regulations (typically 30% charge).
You must fully charge these batteries upon arrival before use. Refer to your charger or device manual for detailed instructions.

For NiCad and NiMH batteries, we recommend a full initial charge (12–24 hours depending on type) and 2–4 full charge/discharge cycles to reach maximum capacity.
